J.O.Y. Biography

J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others, Yourself) is a ladies gospel trio formed in 2007. The group was named by Norma Nell “Noni” Ward who is their biggest fan and supporter. The group sings Southern Gospel and Contemporary Christian and recorded their first CD “Walk By Faith” in 2010. Members include Angie Bobo, Julia Wood, and Susan Phillips. Julia’s daughter, Rachael, has since joined the group and also sings solos. The ladies are active members of Unity Baptist Church of Hope, Arkansas. J.O.Y. is thankful for the many blessings God has given and strives to spread the Gospel through song.

Statement of Faith

We believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for our sins and that belief in Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. We believe the scriptures are the divine and inspired written Word of God.
